Membership Benefits
Activities, Volunteerism & Social Life
The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is a fraternal organization and, as such, the members come together to volunteer their time and money to help us do our charitable works, but also to socialize with fellow members, either on a regular basis or at special events.
For those who are looking for a way to help improve our community, we have volunteer positions and committees targeting veterans, children and those in need. For others who would rather donate money, we are a conduit for getting their donations into the right hands, where they will do the most good. Again, the donations can be targeted to specific groups.
If you’re into activities, we have a number of members involved in playing golf. We have a softball team, which competes against the other lodges in our district. Inside the lodge we have pool tables, shuffleboard, darts, fusball and the occasional poker tournament and horse races.
Our social activities include several special fundraising dinners and dances. We celebrate the special days of the year, such as, Valentines Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Halloween, etc. We have holiday picnics and barbecues. Wednesday meeting nights and two Friday nights a month are Steak Dinner nights. Monday Night Football on our large TV screens is very popular. And, of course, we are open every day into the night for members to enjoy the camaraderie of their fellow members.
